Just substitute "Religious Right" for "Jews". Next time you read a screed against "The Religious Right", try substituting "Jew" in the text and see if you are still as comfortable with it. Your response may well be "except it's true about the Religious Right". I think that would put you firmly on the side of the Dutch discussed above.
